This project aims to design and manufacture the scientific instrumentation for intensity interferometry observations in the visible wavelength range using the 3.6 m TNG and 10.4 m GTC telescopes, separated by 400 meters, at the Roque de los Muchachos Observatory (La Palma). This will allow for a spatial resolution of 80 microarcseconds, marking a global technological milestone and advancing our understanding of the physics of matter under extreme conditions, such as the accretion disks of black holes.
